disk name to array mapping
Guys
I have a bunch luns coming from two different EVAs. I am having hard time in identifying which disk is from which array. Could somebody give some idea?
I know the WWN of both the arrays. Attaching IOSCAN and fcmsutil output

Re: disk name to array mapping
Use the EVAinfo tool, it comes in the SSSU CD.
If you're using Securepath for multipath, spmgr display

Re: disk name to array mapping
Hi vcespon ,
Thanks for your reply.
We cannot install EVAinfo tool as it is a production server and installing any software has to go through tedious change control process. We are not using Secure or autopath. I think it is just pvlinks. Is there any other way that I can get this details? Just by running some commands?
Thanks

Re: disk name to array mapping
I do not see it clear from the ioscan output
You seem to have 2 switches, domains 36 and 39, interconnected
There's an EVA8000 in ports 3, 11, 19 and 27 of San switch domain 36, and ports 6, 12, 20 and 28 of switch domain 39
The same switches and LUNs are seen through /dev/fcd0 and /dev/fcd1. Is there only one fabric? One EVA8000?
Or are we seeing only one fabric and half the ports of two EVA8000?
Anyway, you can know where each device is looking at what switch and port it is accessed through.
