displaying world wide names

This is an easy one! Whats the best way to view world wide name addresses for EMC disks?

Re: displaying world wide names

Shalom,

World wide names are associated with the LUNS and should match the cards. You can use fcmsutil to display the information from your fiber card.

You probably need to use the utility that controls the EMC disks to display WWN of the LUNS. Disks themselves per say do not have WWN associations.

Our EMC has a Linux control station. You will need permission to log onto that system to accomplish this task.

Re: displaying world wide names

Not sure how to get the WWN but you can certainly get the nport_id of the EMC storage array which maps to the WWN inside the name server table of the fabric switch:

# fcmsutil ns_query_ports

cheers!
