eva4400 extend vdisk

i have an eva 4400 on which i have created vdisk and i have presented this vdisk to windows server 2003 64 bit.now i want to extend the size of one vdisk is it duable?
note: on windows the vdisk is not paratged to many volume .only 1 volume
-i have noticed on the command view when i click on the vdisk that i can change the size but windows will see the new size and data will not be lost?

Hi,
if it is a basic disk type, Windows will see the file system with the original size and the unallocated part of the extension. You can extend the file system then via the diskpart online on the standalone Windows host...

If it is a system partition then you will have to use software like Acronis Disk Director to resize the disk and then reboot before the OS will see the different size.

If it's just a logical partition then diskpart will do the job.
