expanding Array

I am having difficulties expanding a raid 5 array for a Smart Array 221 conroller. Using the Array Configuration Utility 7.60.18.0 it does not give me the option to expand when I installed an additional HD. It references it in the help menu, but there are no links to actually configure it.

Are there other ways to configure the controller without having to reinstall the OS? I had no problems adding a hot spare to the system.
