host mode change - whats the impact
Hi,
I was doing some study required for a change in the host mode on a USP, since XP12K,20K etc. are also similiar, was wondering whether some one here has done similiar activity.
As per me
1. The host would have to be shutdown, need clarity whether this is true for the entire port or just the host group.
2. Data on LDEV's on the port (again not clear) will have to be backed up.
Any pointers will be appreciated.
Host mode change from Unix to Windows, since someone had accidently assigned type unix to the HSD of windows host.
