how can i fix "Warning" message on Autoraid disk array ??

hi.. everyone..
we got a E disk array 12H which is connected to K380 system (HPUX 10.20).

The Array state shows "Warning" and Redundancy loss.
Attached file show the error logs.
anyone tell me what is the possible action to fix it.

Hello,
looks like drive in A6 has problems. Although it's displayed as good, array is unable to finish rebuild. Try the following:
- do full backup;
- remove A6 and then plug it back. It will reset disk completely and rebuild may succeed;
- replace disk with new one

sorry my plan looks a little incorrectly...
of course replace disk with new one if rebuild will not succeed. If after disk reseating rebuild will complete leave AutoRAID as is

i'll do following step to fix it..
but i wonder if my plan is correct..

1. full backup
2. arraycfg -D A6 -d -R < array seraial # >
( Down the disk in slot A6 )
3. remove it from slot A6 physically.
4. put it back to slot A6 physically.
5. arraycfg -D A6 -a < array seraial # >
( Include the disk in slot A6 , then array try to rebuild. )

am i planning right..??

if i got a result that array still show "Warning" message ,
what is the things i can try to fix it ?
will OS patch and firmware upgrade be helpful for that problem..??

One other thing, all 12H arrays shold be at HP62 firmware. No exceptions!!!!

Hi,
I would make a hardwarecall to HP. I ignored this error recently, and later on the whole array was not accessible anymore. This despiet of the Hot spare on.

turn active hot spare on.
The array will start balancing data. ( moving into r5 ) the rebuild should finish and you should regain redundancy.

Remove the disk a6 in any case, and replace it asap.

The disk may need a fw upgrade.. not sure if HP01 disk f/w is good for you..

you should contact the RC to verify. Back up too as the others mention!
