Is there a driver available for the Smart Array 5300 working with linux (we have a SuSE 7.0 Version)?

The location of the driver patch is:

Even when booting from a CCISS-patched 2.2.18 kernel, I am unable to install SuSE 7.0 onto a Smart Array 5300.
http://www.compaq.com/products/servers/linux/OptionsMatrix.html says that there is a 'fix for this distribution in progress'.
When will this 'fix' be available? I could really do with it ASAP!

(Incidentally, SuSE 7.1 installs fine - however, I will be running an Oracle8i database, for which SuSE 7.0 is considered to be more stable).
