I have never seen this before.
Did you add a second controller while the array was NOT running??

To try to fix it to the following:
connect your pc to C2 and boot from this single controller (handle C1 = pulled).

When its up and running, insert the C1 controller and watch if cloning starts.
Give it a couple of minutes.

tanks Arend , these machines were lying idol for a long time before i used thme for testing purpose .

I inserted the other controller when the first one was running and the command prompt reads "coCreating Clone Image".


then i issued the command dsp -s -c

I was trying to troubleshoot another VA, this time I connected one controller at a time .

on one of the controllers i got the following message

"tAbtrm:ab. ffff.10 "

can anyone throw some light as to why n how this happens ??

ab.ffff.xx abterms usually indicate a failed controller hardware. Try power cycling the controllers once. If you run into the same termination again, its time to replace the controller hardware.
