inq for emc

WE HAVE LOTS OF HPUX SYSTEMS CONNECTED TO AN EMC 3930. We use a utility called'inq' to query the emc drives from the HPUX system. Question: Is there an 'inq' program that I can run on the windoze side to query the emc disks?

Re: inq for emc

Well you might try looking into EMC's site to help you with this. www.emc.com
Create an account (if you don't have one already) on EMC's PowerLink.
Then click on Support on the tab at top, from there I went to Document Library,
then Hardware/Platform,
then to Symm 39xx,
then on the left box again click on Host Connectivity and go down till you see a pdf for Windows and open that.
Look under Appendix A for Utilities and you will find the instructions for this.

Hi,

There is a Navisphere CLI (java based) utility called navicli(.jar) for Windows.
It allows you to query the drives and also do all kind of command to maintain the system.
