install a redundant array controller in MSA500

Hello,

we have bought a second redundant raid controller for our cluster storage MSA500.

My question is, for what i have to pay attention, when I install this controller.

It should be possible to hotplug the controller, but I want to know how the new controller retrieves it configuration data. Is it done automaticly or what to do?

Is there any risk by hotplugging, what would you advice me?

It is automatic for retrieving configuration data.
MSA500, MSA1000, MSA1500...

Any risk... Don't hotplug at random if MSA500 is ok.
