missing drive on va7400
SDM shows yellow warning icon and says the array has missing drive. But in graphical view (as well as by LEDs) all drives (and other FRUs) are green.
Any guess?
Thanks

Re: missing drive on va7400
Hi,
Check with armdsp -d if you have all disk in state INCLUDED.
If not you should replace the defective disk. If all are Included look look at the array logs for any other error with:
armlog -e
or
logprn -a
If you have any error call HP support and send them the logs for analyse.
Regards
Silvino

Re: missing drive on va7400
if you run #armdsp -a "alias"
at the end you should see the error message. it contains the location of the failed/missing disk. run also what Silvino said and call HP.
good luck,
Ricardo

Re: missing drive on va7400
armdsp -a just said there is a missing drive. But! The problem is solved by runing armformat -f.
