model 20 Disks not being recognized
I've a CLARIION model 20 RAID box. It was working fine till this morning. In order to rearrange the RAID disks, I replaced a few disks from this box. I do not know which disks I've replaced.
since then whenever I power-up the RAID box, in the PRESENTATION MENU I see all the drives with status as UNS instead of UNB.
Can someone pl. help me and let me know the slot # in which the disk with proper firm is supposed to be inserted ?
Thanks.

Re: model 20 Disks not being recognized
Hello,
Looks like you got yourself into a bit of a problem...
In the Nike 20, you just cannot replace disks haphazardly and hope that it will work satisfactrily!
For example, if you replace a disk, you have to put one with the SAME SIZE and of the SAME MANUFACTURER.
Also, if you replaced all the database disks from which it gets the SP microcode. These are slots A0, B0, C0 and A3. Yours booted so you didn't replace all of these slots, for sure.
HTH,
Vince
