I am an MSA200sa licensed for snapshots.
When I take a snap-shot it is deleted immediately.
Looking at the policy, I see my Critical threshold is set to 0%:
# show snap-pools
Vdisk Serial# Name
Size Free MasterVols Snapshots
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
vd_chart 00c0ffd5cd950000a42d144901000000 vd_chart_snap_pool
1499.9GB 1499.9GB 1 0
Threshold %Usage Policy SizeToExpand
---------------------------------------------------------
Warning 0% Notify Only N/A
Error 0% Notify Only 0B
Critical 0% Delete Snapshots N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
If I try to change my policy it errors:
# set snap-pool-threshold vd_chart_snap_pool warning 80% error 90%
Error: Command Failed (error code: -10052)
If I try to chance the 'Critical' policy, it's ignored:
# set snap-pool-policy vd_chart_snap_pool error notifyonly critical nochange
Success: Snap-pool Policy Changed.
# show snap-pools
Vdisk Serial# Name
Size Free MasterVols Snapshots
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
vd_chart 00c0ffd5cd950000a42d144901000000 vd_chart_snap_pool
1499.9GB 1499.9GB 1 0
Threshold %Usage Policy SizeToExpand
---------------------------------------------------------
Warning 0% Notify Only N/A
Error 0% Notify Only 0B
Critical 0% Delete Snapshots N/A
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can anybody please let me know how to set the Critical to something other than 0%, or the policy to something other than 'Delete Snapshot'?
Any help very welcome!

Solution
Received logs from Ben. The array had gone down once , and the issue occurred as a result of it. The Snap Pool volume got corrupt and the critical threshold changed to 0%. Since the MSA is not designed to edit the critical threshold % , there was no go other than to delete the snap pool volume and recreate a new one. The new one came up with default threshold values and now snapshots working fine.
