printing

Hi all,

I'm having problem printing from remote printer

(1) If i login as normal user then su to root, i can run lpstat and my remote printer shows down and other lp command has no effect eg lpsched, enable, lpshut.

(2) if i login from console as root, i can enable the printer and process printing from this remote printer.

Any one can help?
i have 4555 for /bin/su, no error from (1)

Re: printing

Have you tried to restart the printer? Is it still the same?

When login to (1), what does 'id' shows?
