quick question on AutoRAID 12H

Is it unwise to remove disks or introduce new disks while the unit is in the state of balancing? I had two drives to seemingly fail and I didn't want to tackle the second drive until after the initial balancing was finished unless there is no reason not to wait. Fortunately, at this point I have had no data loss.

I would not be doing anything until the balancing has completed.
