Hi
As a task required to update the firmware of an HP VA7400, I uninstalled "Command View VA" release 1.05 and installed "HP StorageWorks Command View VA" 1.09.00 (downloaded from HP website), but this installation reported errors.
The output from session contained in swagent.log are attached.
The error messages are:
* Installing fileset "cimom.cimomFILESET,r=1.0.2" (11 of 12).
Loading the mofs
This could take several minutes ...
/opt/SMI-S/cimom/loadMofs[10]: 295 Abort
WARNING: The "postinstall" script for "cimom.cimomFILESET" had a
warning (exit code "134"). The script location was
"/var/tmp/BAAa00102/catalog/cimom/cimomFILESET/postinstall".
* This script had warnings but the execution of this fileset
will still proceed. Check the above output from the script
for further details.
other error message is:
* Adding driver info to
/opt/sanmgr/hostagent/config/HBA_device.cfg.
* Setting 'SEND=true' in QDiscoveryModule.dmc
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /CLO/Components/JAVA_12/Src/build/HP_UX/lib/PA_RISC2.0/server/libjvm.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
/var/tmp/BAAa00102/catalog/HPCVCOMCOR/pfiles/configure[733]: 532 Abort

Re: "HP StorageWorks Command View VA" 1.09.00 installation reported errors
The message error
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /CLO/Components/JAVA_12/Src/build/HP_UX/lib/PA_RISC2.0/server/libjvm.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
is due that some executables named 'java' try to load the shared library "libjvm.sl" from the directory /CLO/Components/JAVA_12/Src/build/HP_UX/lib/PA_RISC2.0/server
but this directory does not exist -- the library file exists under /opt/sanmgr/jre directory. This path is inline into executable. Chatr command shows it.
shared library list:
dynamic /usr/lib/libpthread.1
dynamic /CLO/Components/JAVA_12/Src/build/HP_UX/lib/PA_RISC/server/libjvm.sl
dynamic /usr/lib/libdld.2
dynamic /usr/lib/libc.2
Then I created the path but other error messages are found:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Unable to load native library: specified library, or one of its dependencies,
does not exist.
