storage dilema
Hi ,
I need to convince manag. to go for EVA 8000 , the other option obviously being clariion,CX-3 80.need help with some comparison matrix .On SPC site(http://www.storageperformance.org/results/benchmark_results_all#a00052) I got "good looking Graphs " for EVA with 2c 12D ( I required 2C2D) but not for EMC .
Can Guru(s) out there help me with this ,
Regards ,

Re: storage dilema
I don't claim to be a guru, but I think an EVA8000/8100 is simply overkill for two disk drive enclosures with 28 disk drives.
Try to sell your management on ease of use and the flexibility won through virtualization. Those 'good looking graphs' have little or nothing to do with real-world environments.
