uNeed to know how to Inst/Conf. a MSA60 Storage.

Hello,

I have a MSA60 storage with 8 disk connected to a Server running WIndows 2003 R2. We need to confiure to use 5 disk in RAID 5 and 2 disk in RAID 1.

Are there available a software to do this from the windows server?. I must to do a direct conect using administration port?.
Any help will be wellcome.

The MSA60 will be connected to a Smart Array controller, so you'll use the Array Configuration Utility to create arrays and logical units.

This utility should be already installed, since it comes with the Proliant Support pack. In case it's not, here are the links:

Thanks a lot for the information and link that you send me. I download ACU software I can configute my MSA60 without problems.

I`ll appreciate if you can help me with two more questions:

1.- How can verify if the initialization of the array created is still running?. I check in the ACU software but I can detect if teh initialization is in progress or fineshed.

2.- What additional software have the Proliant Support Pack CD?
