upgrade 2dh to 3200

We have a Proliant 3000 server with a 2DH controller. We purchased a 3200 and attempted to change the controller. The machine starts to load W2K and gets half way through. Then Blue Screen of Death saying Boot Partition not found. Any Clues? Thanks!

Please clear your NVRAM. After clearing it please make sure the 3200 is set as first for boot controller order.
What was the firmware of the 2DH?
We are here for a good time, not a long time!
