using autoraid 12H on a PC?

We have several unused AutoRaid 12H racks collecting dust. We also have a Dell PowerEdge 4300 server which needs disk.

Can a 12H array be used on a Dell server running RedHat Linux? If so, what adaptor should we use (ie, Adaptec AHA 2940 or ???)

Hi Bob,

since the array *was* supported with windows NT, tis should work. Don't expect support with a current windows/linux version. You will need a FW SCSI HBA - this will be the challenge.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
