va7100

Hi,

Does anyone know what would happen to a va7400 controller if someone put it in a va7100 array and it tried to create a image?I sent some A6189A controllers to a customer and I believe they put it in an va7100.Ofcourse they said it did not work.These went out good.But when I got them back now they do not work.I was wondering if they tried to create an image from the va7100 controller to the va7400 controller would that make the controller bad?
