one of a va7410's hard disk(M/D13)'s Fault LED is on, but in amrdsp -a output, all the disks' status is good, and all the disks' state is Included. following messages could be read in armdsp -a output:
OPERATIONS IN PROGRESS
The array is SCRUBBING.
WARNINGS
WARNING: The configuration of the subsystem is such that one or more drives has only a single path of access to it.
what could be the problem? should i replace M/D13 and would it seal the waring?
thanks a lot

Re: va7410:one HD's Fault Led is on, and waring message in armdsp
Can you post the armdsp output? Maybe 1 path for M/D13 has failed (dual pathed disks).
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

it seems like what you said, one path of M/D13 is failed. and you could read the armdsp -a output in attached file. what should i do to deal with the problem? just replace M/D13? if so, pulling out M/D13 would cause the array to ballancing, at the right time, could i just push the new disk in that empty slot or wait for the balancing to finish?
thanks a lot

SolutionBTW, I noticed you are using an old firmware A100 - this could be A140. The Update will bring more performance and reliability.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: va7410:one HD's Fault Led is on, and waring message in armdsp
Regarding the firmware:
You can get the files from the web, but I never found the instruction there.
Ask your HP support and decide to let HP do the upgrade or do it yourself.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
