va7410: path on M/C2 could not be accessed.
dear all,
host 1 port of va7410's M/C2 was connected to an san switch, and there were others storage path connecting to this switch, all paths were fine, except this va7410 path. another path from va7410's M/C1 to another switch was ok and all the lights on those switches and disk array were fine. Before, the light of M/C2 host 1 was blinking green, and i've replaced M/C2 of va7410, but the problem was still there, os could not probe those LUNs on va7410. attached file was output of armdsp -a, the NVRAM issue was because the battery was charging.
thank you for you reply

Re: va7410: path on M/C2 could not be accessed.
It seems that your cache battery on C2 is on low voltage state, wait for a while to charge. If not you will need to replace the battery also.
Do you use any security on VA, I mean can any host on the SAN reach to VA or is there a limitation on VA. If so you have to change the WWN settings on those connections.

Re: va7410: path on M/C2 could not be accessed.
Look at ioscan: this controller/path should be "NO_HW". In order for the controller to be claimed by the operating system (driver), you need to use fcmsutil "replace_dsk".
