Storage Boards Cleanup
To make it easier to find information about HPE Storage products and solutions, we are doing spring cleaning. This includes consolidation of some older boards, and a simpler structure that more accurately reflects how people use HPE Storage.

Another note - If the LUN is large, deleting it can cause I/O's to retry. VA7X00's delete a LUN at about 8GB/sec, so if the LUN is 100's of GB, you should probably do it off hours.

Re: what is the command to delete a lun in va7000

The reason I want to delete the LUN, is because I want to recreate the LUN with a new size.
However, the problem is everytime when I delete the lun with size of 20G by using the command "armcfg -L 35 -d arrayid", and then I use " armcfg -L 35 -a 12G -g 1 arrayid", when the new devices created(using insf), the size of the device still shows me the original size (20G, by diskinfo), what went wrong?
