Re: xp256
Not to be confused between NAS and SAN solutions...
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Product.jsp?locale=en_US&prodTypeId=12169&prodCatId=304617&prodSubCatId=304658
XP256 seems to be the latest high-end storage solution on this site..
However, not to be confused with the capacity of each disk array solutions. they can be daisy chained...
Are you looking for a single enclosure that can give the highest capacity?
kind regards

Re: xp256
In XP series,
XP128
XP256
XP512
XP1024
then comes, XP12000. I think 12000 is the Big B, HP has.

Sunil

Re: xp256
It can hold 1152 internal disks (from 72 to 300GB)thats up to 340TB and manage external capacity of up to 30000TB.
An XP12000 can present up to 32PB to the SAN with up to 224FC Ports.
Attached you find the current HP array line from MSA to EVA to XP and a slide that shows the history of all XP arrays.
Cheers
Peter
