VLS6105 Fiber Connection

i have VLS6105 , and the fiber connection link channel is not working and give me in the WWPN 00 . and link failed .

Hi,

Can you reply with an expanded description of your environment? Are you doing a direct connect? Is there a switch involved? If a switch is involved, can you check the port status on the switch? What type of switch is it?

What type of host/hosts are you trying to connect it to?

Where are you seeing the WWPN 00 and link failed?

i have HP Storage Works san switch 24 port ,i see the WWPN 00 in the command view ,the host is windows 2003 .

Hello,,

Please make sure that the setting for the switch port(s) that the VLS connects to are hard set to Fabric Nports,,with 2gb link speed.
