VLS6653 - GUI is SLow and not working sometimes.

we haev VLS 6653 and i am facing problem in accessing through GUI -it is very slow and sometimes failing to open even and if i run restartcommandviewvls from CLI then it is working for some time.

Please tell me how can we map the VLS drives to host by using CLI (as i am facing problem in GUI, temporarily to use CLI for any tape allocation.)

Please check the firmware version. (2.3.02
8 Jul 2008) Getting a support ticket might tell us more on the memory in use and the background processes running.

The latest firmware on non-dedupe the VLS firmware : 2.3.

For a dedupe feature to be enabled it is version 3.1.2 (2009-03-06)

This is due to a bug in firmware 2.2 ,you need to upgrade the firmware to 2.3 so issue will be fixed or for 2.2 u have patch to fix this issue . I have attached the patch....
