how to download latest firmware for HP storageworks VLS 6100

Hi,

we have VLS 6100 and disk enclosure. Currently we are running following firmware version

Software version: 2.3.0

RAID controller firmware: 2.76

Disk adapter firmware : 2.08

we planning to upgrade above firmwares, but we are not able to find the latest firmware for VLS 6100. Please anyone share the latest firmware links.

Hi!

On HP's driver/downloads page you need to search for VLS6109 or 6105.

That will get you here:

Last EBS matrix that the VLS6100 is in is April 2009.

This says the firmware to use is the 2.3.0 firmware.

If I went to the VLS6200 and there found the 2.3.0 and went to release notes it says that the VLS6100 is not supported with this firmware.

I tried to find another place where the 2.3.0 was listed and listed as supported for the VLS6100 - but I could not.

I wonder if 2.3.0 not advised to run on the VLS6100 anymore?
