2 x Disk Arrays model 20

I wont connect 2 Disk arrays on one SCSI cable (cascade)
I search any manuals, where I found how set SCSI ID address on bought arrays.
I must install any software?

It is not possible to hook two MSA20s to one SCSI cable. You need one SCSI port on a host per each MSA20 you want to connect.

Re: 2 x Disk Arrays model 20

It's not a MSA20, right?

The old model 20 (Nike) has a dip switch bank for each storage processor near the SCSI connetors. Set the DIP switches to the IDs you want. It's important to configure a unique ID for each of the 4 (2 per array) SPs.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Ok.
But├в ┬ж first array is working, and all is ok when second is off.
When I connect second array and start the system, ioscan do not see any arrays.
I was test on few unique ID, and effect is this same.
