A3311A HASS / A4800A SCSI Adapter

Can I use a A4800A SCSI Adapter in an HP Netserver LD Pro to connect to a A3311A HASS?

I am trying to use my old equipment.

Thanks for any help.

Hi, I Don't know which type of interface is your A4800A, but a hass is just a dumb box, if your interface match disks plugged into hass box, it will be enough. Of course it can be out of support also.

Good Luck

Re: A3311A HASS / A4800A SCSI Adapter

In the configuration guide, A4800A is a PCI FWD SCSI-2 interface disigned for HP V, N and L class and is used to connect HVD scsi devices.
That is, It supports only HP9000/3000 systems.
But if I were in your shoes, I would give it a try and see if what it will happen.

Best regards,

Hi James,

Give it a try as In-Su Kim is suggesting. It might work. About the HASS, if the channel is supported it should work. Like David said, it is a dumb box.

Hope this helps.

thanks
