Re: ARMServer process for HPSureStore 12H STOPS
The various management and diagnostics daemons started off by the hparray init script each perform a full ioscan (without the -k) this can cause long timeouts, and possible hangs, if two ioscans are running at the same time.
Usually this won't happen, unless you, root, run a full ioscan (without -k) at the same time.
The defect description of the PHCO posted above describes and armserver start process timeout.. Install it first on the hp62 system.
Read the release notes before installing it on the hp60 system, just in case you have to upgrade fw before installing. (good practice)
Later,
Bill

Re: ARMServer process for HPSureStore 12H STOPS
But when we stop hparray and restart it, what effect does that have to the availability of data on the array?
I would like to fix my log problem, but not bring down our application to do it!
Thanks
