Add 18GB Drive
Proliant 3000
Novell Netware 4.11
Smart 2/DH Array Controller
Currently running Raid5 with 3 18GB Drives in single array(Netware VOL_1). I want to add a single 18GB Drive for a second Netware Volume. I believe I should install the drive, use cpqonlin.nlm to create a second array, and then use install.nlm to create the partition and volume. Is this the correct procedure? Is there a problem with using only one drive in the second array? Please let me know. Thanks for your help in advance.
Rev. Downed the server. Installed the harddrive into the cage. Booted the server. Ran cpqonlin.nlm - cannot see the drive.

Re: Add 18GB Drive
If you downed the server and added the drive , you'll need to run the Array Configuration Utility (offline)and configure the drive on the controller .
