Add another 4254R to productiv MA8000 (HSG80)
The HSG80 are configured as
"SCSI_version 2" and "multibus-failover" with the firmware has the Version V87F-4.
Can anybody help me.

You mean you _want_ to connect a third M4254R?
Just go ahead and do it, unless you want to optimize storageset member placement, but even that can be done without data loss.

He suggested use the diskenclosure 4354R, does this work together with the old 4254R and the HSG80.

The differences between the 4254 and the 4354 do not make then incompatible. Basicly, the newer model allows faster bus speed, has newer firmware/EMU, different enclosure color, etc...
You should be able to use a 4354 with your 4254's. Of course, I could be totally off so someone please tell me different.
I have mixed shelves before without any issues that I can remember.
Remember to perform a FULL backup of all your data first, even though you will not be doing any data intrusive work, you can never be too careful.
