Re: Add disk to Array E200i - Raid 5
Second, there is something that is not consistent with your attachment and with what you are sayng. The first Unite logique appears to be a RAID5 LUN made of 3 146GB disks. The second LUN appears to be made of 3 72GB disks.
I don't think the new disk that you inserted is configured yet.
So check if you have BBWC and post the the physical view (disks) of the E200.

Disque 146 gb SAS Ã port1 : boite 1: baie2
Disque 146 gb SAS Ã port1 : boite 1: baie3
Disque 146 gb SAS Ã port1 : boite 1: baie4
En vue logique j'ai : LOGICAL VIEW
Smat array E200i sur le connecteur incorporé
- SAS MODULE RAID A.
Unité logique 1 (279964 MB ) RAID5
Unité logique 2 (139979 MB ) RAID5
The first Unite logique is a RAID5 LUN made of 3X146GB disks.
The second Unite Logique is a RAID5 made of 1X136GB disks.

Re: Add disk to Array E200i - Raid 5
Ensure that the new LUN is NOT in use and delete it. Then if you have BBWC you can expand the old LUN. After you expand the old LUN, you have to expand the OS (windows?) partition. (In windows you use the diskpart.exe utility). The LUN expansion and the OS partition expansion are two separate steps.

See what i get by the 'gestionnaire de disques'
Do you known a utility that can help me , to see the SAS module raid 5 occupation ?
