If I have an existing EVA3000 with 2 controllers and 2 filled trays and would like to add more disk can I just add 2 more trays to the existing controllers I am assuming I will have to bump my OV SOM lic up

Solution
The simple answer is yes. The EVA3000 2C2D can be expanded out to a 2C4D by adding 2 additional 5414R disk shelves.
If you look around the forms a bit, there are some posts pertaining to adding shelves and procedures, best practices, etc..
Basicly, it is best to plan for some downtime.... shut the unit down, install/connect the shelves, power it back up. Once your shelves are online and confirmed working, I would then add your disks.
