Adding multiple IDE drives for extra storage Boot.ini

stock install on SCSI array boot.ini follows
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Server" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Server" /fastdetect

I'd like to add 2 large Maxtor 160GB drives on their own pci controller card.
On Compaq servers, the default boot oder with IDE drive is IDE, SCSI
I'm entertaing suggestions and schemes to boot from a floppy with boot.ini,
ntdetect.com, ntldr and Ntbootdd.sys
OK, you ARC geniuses out there. What would the boot.ini file change to?
remember there are unused onbard SCSI ports.
The computer in question is a Proliant5500. Heck, I'll listen to a notion if it might work.
