Adding new disk

I would like to add a new disk on the existing vg for production and BCV using XP array LDEV on hpux box
. Please help me

You need to provision new LUN from XP to HPUX. Then look for this thread to achieve the volumegroup extension

Create the first mirror sync between primary volume and secondary volume. I prefer to do it from the CommandViewXP but it can also be done through RAIDManager command (find someone who understand RAIDManager otherwise you may reverse sync in error).

Finaly have the new volume added to the /etc/horcmxx.conf (xx is the number of your horcm service). You need to specifically put it under HORCM_DEV section.
