Adding new host in hostgroup on XP12K
Hi all,
On CHIP ports CL1-E and CL2-E, one hostgroup is added which includes hostA and hostB and almost 10 LUNS are presented on this hostgroup. New i added one more host say hostC in the same host group. Please tell what i need to do, so that the existing LUNs can be seen by HOSTC.
Thanks in advance, waiting for your reply.

Re: Adding new host in hostgroup on XP12K
If you want host C to see the same LUNs all you need to do is add the WWPN of hostC to the Host Group.
However, I personally dont like doing it this way. I prefer one Host Group per host and then present the same LUN to multiple host groups if you want multiple hosts to see the same LUN. Just my opinion though.

Re: Adding new host in hostgroup on XP12K
Did you manually type in the WWPN for HOSTC or did it appear in the drop down list? If you manually typed it in are you sure that you have zoned HOSTC in with the correct XP ports?
