Additional drives for an external disk array (A3549A)

I need to add additional disks to an external disk array with model number A3549A. I was recently handed this, and asked to make it happen pronto. I need the part number of the disks in question, and perhaps (if allowable, if not, no issues there) a recommendation as to who to contact to purchase said disks (a colleague claims to have been told by an unknown source that the drives I'm looking for are no longer being sold, but I'm slightly skeptical). If anyone has any information or a link to said information, I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Additional drives for an external disk array (A3549A)

You have a

Disk Array Model 20-A3549A

You can get the drives from any 3rd party refurbisher of HP equipment. The drives will automatically be eligible for HP maintenance once you have them 30 days, until then the seller's warranty will cover any problems (usually 90 days at least)

Suggested sellers

Abtech Systems 1-800-474-7397
Blue Line 1-877-GO4BLUE
Norco 1-800-892-192

Hi Ryan.

Take a look to www.on-queue.com.
I did that but I didn't see exactly the model
A3549A but A3550A at:
www.on-queue.com/productsListing.cfm?Category=Disk%20Arrays&Title=Storage

The important thing is the disk model you may find at:
www.on-queue.com/productsListing.cfm?Category=Drives%20for%20Disk%20Arrays&Title=Storage

Best regards.
Massimo.
