I am using a 2DH on an old Proliant 800 running SCO OpenServer 5. Is it possible to enable the write-cache of the disk drives through the "Advanced Features" menu? The "Advanced Features" selection is grayed out in the menu. Is there a ctrl-a option or something to enable this menu?

This particular machine is for testing and I am not concerned about the ultimate safety of the data.

Do you mean write cache on the controller? We do not use the write cache on Compaq drives. If the controller supports write cache - which the 2DH does - it should allow you to configure for that in the ACU.
