Is it possible to connect 2 K-Class servers to the same disks in a Jamaica box?
Only one of the servers would be active at one time. The second server would be in single user mode or powered down. The idea being to have a "spare" server in the case of a major HW failure of the active server. Then the spare server could be brought online to take over for the failed server.
Thanks In Advance
Henry

SolutionThat would be fine. Just make sure that you enable termination on each of the SCSI interface cards in both hosts (or use in-line terminated cables) and it would be wise to use different SCSI addresses on the interface cards as well (Primary host = address 7, Standby host = address 6).
Good Luck,
Curt
