Anybody know if HP plans on support 3TB HD's on the P800?

I just got an MSA60 with a P800 full of 3TB HP HD's.  I was kinda bummed that it only recognizes 2TB of it ... anybody know if HP plans on upping the support hard drive size soon?

Hello,

according quickspecs for P800 at http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12616_div/12616_div.html it seems rumors could be real - there is no 3TB drive in support matrix.

on the other hand - I saw 3TB compatibility with e200 - much less power controller, so maybe you coud try.

I've tried and the array is built - just limited to 2tb per HD...

this seems to apply to the e500 as well. i would guess these are all based on similar lsi chips under the hood. it would be nice to get an official hp response. i'm working with lsi directly on a similar aged sas hba card which shows the same issue, and so far they don't seem to be offering a firmware fix, so i wouldn't be surprised if the hp branded cards will be stuck at 2tb as well.
