Array configuration tools for Linux?

I couldn't find any version of the Array Configuration tools for Linux. Does such a thing exist? Will it ever?

The tool does not exist - you'll have to use the version that runs from the smartstart cdrom - as far as will it ever? well, if somebody wants to write it it may one day show up at www.compaq.com/linux - you may want to take a look there from time to time

If somebody could give me good enough documentation, I could try to do it myself and release that under some form of free license.
