AutoRAID Model 12H

We have some Model 12H AutoRAID arrays and I was wanting to upgrade the disk firmware to the latest release. Is there anywhere from which the firmware updates can be obtained ?

Re: AutoRAID Model 12H

Hi Mike,

download command will be used to install the firmware from the codeword file.

The below command will be install firmware to the particular disk in the slot
#download -D slot codefilename array-id

if the controller firmware need to upgraded the command will be as below
#download -C codefilename array-id

Re: AutoRAID Model 12H

Hi Mano,

As your requested attached is the output you requested. There are 4 arrays in total, each has it's own file. In the interests of security I have removed the alias and the name of the server.

I am also aware that 2 of the arrays need their controller firmware upgrading, both x and y.

Re: AutoRAID Model 12H

Sorry Mano, it appears you cam only attach one file, so I have tar'ed the four file into one tar archive.

thanks,

Mike.

Re: AutoRAID Model 12H

Hi Mano,

The email id you can use is 'support@microlise.com'

Please can you ensure that the appropriate disk has the relevant corresponding firmware file, so I know exactly which firmware update applies to which disk.

Past expierience has shown that applying the wrong firmware to the disk can irrecoverably destroy the disk.

Thanks

Mike.

Re: AutoRAID Model 12H

Hi Mano,

The files that you sent are almost the same, but not quite. Given that a download of the wrong file could destroy the disk I am unable to go ahead with the download. Unless I can guarantee that the files are good and correct revision for the drive then I am not going to be allowed to continue.

Thanks for your help though.

Mike.
