Solutionps -ef | grep -i arm
most likely that the ARMServer is not running.
ioscan -fnkC disk
do you see the autoraid CLAIMED.
what is the status of vi /etc/rc.config.d/hparray START variable.
arraydsp -i
returns what?
Later,
Bill

Re: AutoRAID access error message on the console.
Look through http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xf8a74a988422d711abdc0090277a778c,00.html ;
Is this new installation or was working fine for some time? Does array show 'green' on its front panel/led?
