Autopath information?

I am not sure if the website is having problems or what but I have been searching for information regarding autopath (requirements, release notes etc...) for Windows, HP, SUN and AIX if availble. Does anyone know where this information is? I found the installation instructions for HP but not release notes.

Does anyone know if Autopath works with...

Hitachi Arrays
Veritas Cluster Server
Multiple hbas in a cluster per node

Any other gotchas out there? Any help will be points of course.

Re: Autopath information?

Path failover software (actually filter drivers) like AutoPath are array bound. AutoPath is available for HP Virtual Arrays and HP XP arrays. Hitachi and others do have their own products.
Some facts:
- HP Autopath supports up to 8 path from a server to the storage.
- HP Autopath is available for HP-UX, NT, W2k, AIX, Solaris, Linux
- HP Autopath can be set in different configurations, like: round robbin, preferred path, dynamic load balancing etc.
As an example look at the manual for Linux on: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpg29288/lpg29288.pdf
You will find more on: www.hp.com/support/apxp and www.hp.com/support/apva

For more details on Autopath like supported HBAs, OS versions etc. I recommend contacting your local HP storage consulting organization.
If it's a non HP array contact that vendor.

Re: Autopath information?

Peter,
Actually I got some feedback from HP and they do not have AutoPath for Solaris.

FYI

Thanks for the feedback though.
