Back to RAID 0 with Compaq Prosignia Server 720
Hi,
I have old Compaq Prosignia Server 720 installed in RAID 1 and I would like to return in RAID 0 without losing my data and the
configuration of the server Windows 2003.
It is possible?
Pierre

Re: Back to RAID 0 with Compaq Prosignia Server 720
Hi Pierre,
With a Smart Array controller you are not able to migrate a RAID set back to RAID 0.
You can do a full system back-up, delete the currenty array and create a new RAID 0 set. Then restore from back-up.
Thanks,
Jake Zeeman
