Bad Controller HSV100 on EVA3000

One of the HSV100 controller went power off from time to time. It was diagnoze with hw problems and must be replacing. I never replace one. Could somebody guide me pls the steps needed? EVA3000 have 12 virtual servers.

PS: The other controller do not take the primary role !!! Dunno why. The sistem was implemented by other company...

If the EVA is correctly installed, you just have to power off the bad controller, disconnect all cables and replace it by the new one connecting all cables on the same ports.

You should have port FP1 from controller A and FP2 from controller B connected to one switch, and the other two ports connected to the other switch.
Then the servers would not lose connection if you power off one controller.
