I got a question.
I need to upgrade the firmware of an EVA 6000 with CV EVA 6.0,
for this, I need to upgrade to CV EVA 9.3
the question is, if I upgrade from CV 6.0 to CV 9.3, all the licenses remain???
or,
how can I extract the licenses, so I can put them on the new CV 9.3???
Thanks for the quick response!
Cheers!

Solution1) CV 6 and CV9 do not use the same licensing. Get some assistance from HP Support and the HP licensing team on https://webware.hp.com/.
You will very likely need documents/receipts with HP order number or contract/SAID as proof of your purchase.
2) Yes you can use the trial license, it is OK for 60 days and if you push HP support a little you can get an extension. I would attempt getting the license quite a while before starting the upgrade.

Re: CV EVA 6.0 ti 9.3
Please note that starting with CV EVA V7, the licensing is no longer based on Flex/LM - it now uses HP autopass. Those licenses are completely incompatible, so you do need new keys from HP. Please refer the following link,
https://webware.hp.com/licensinghome/hppwelcome.asp
In order to do the firmware upgrade it is not recommended to do that with trial version, in case of trial version all features are functional for evaluation purposes only and cannot be used in a production EVA environment.
