Re: CV EVA 7
Check the Local groups on the server where Command View is installed.
If you have have a "HP Storage Admins" and "HP Storage Users" group, make sure the Administrator is part of the "HP Storage Admins" group and retry logging in.
IF CV was installed with the Domain Security option, then you will need to manually create a "HP Storage Admins" group in your domain and add the administrator to it.

Re: CV EVA 7
Thanks for your help. I hadn't added the user to the admin group.
But, now I have got into CV I can't see my EVA. I can see the two 4000's but not the 4400. Can an EVA4400 be managed by CV 7.0?

Re: CV EVA 7
The EVA 4400 Cannot be managed from CV EVA 7.
Support for EVA 4400's are only available from Command view 8 And Above. You could install Command view 8 and manage all the EVA's off it.
Quickspecs for 4400:

Re: CV EVA 7
You can not upgrade CV7 to CV8.
Command View 8.0.1 upgrade and 8.0.2 upgrade can be found here...
" http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3664271&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=471497&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005 "
You will need to install CV 8.0 first.
